François Garaude has bought a lot of jadeite jade (which is found only in Burma and is not to be confused with nephrite jade). He is considered a specialist in France. He became an expert through purchasing blocks of rough jade, cut in Mandalay in Burma and cut and polished in Hong Kong, where cut jade is only subjected to a traditional treatment (dipped in the juice of a certain type of plum, and after being rinsed and dried, dipped in the hot wax of a certain type of bee: Type A).
Jade comes in a whole range of colors: apple green, imperial green, yellow, red, lavender, blue, white, black, gray, etc. or a blend of these colors. We only sell Grade A jade because jade can also be immersed in resin (Grade B), and sometimes in colored resin (Grade C).
All the stones stocked have been analyzed by leading laboratories (SSEF, AGL, GRS, GUBELIN, LFG, HKJS) and often have several certificates.
