All Garaude emeralds are natural and have no trace of resin, which is used to hide the fissures in the stones through polymerization.
They are a beautiful green color, neither too blue nor too yellow, and are eye-clean.
The stock is composed of emeralds of varied provenance (Colombia, Zambia, Ethiopia, Brazil) and the stones are only exposed to cedar oil, of which they may contain only a minor quantity (known as minor oil stones). Many stones are not filled with any oil at all; these are described as 'no oil' stones.
All the stones stocked have been analyzed by leading laboratories (SSEF, AGL, GRS, GUBELIN, LFG) and often have several certificates.
